Welcome to UCLA UniCamp’s Community Volunteer Program (CVP)! As a volunteer for UCLA UniCamp, you are now a part of one of UCLA’s longest-standing traditions and volunteer organizations. Through the next few months, all of our training will be dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge required to serve as a counselor or specialist with UniCamp this summer. You will also get to learn all about UniCamp’s traditions, what it means to be a Woodsey, and have fun with your fellow volunteers!
CVP is a bit different from UniCamp’s normal session cohorts; we have transformed UniCamp’s training model into a virtual setting so you can complete the required training wherever you may be! When summer comes, you will then volunteer in-person at Camp River Glen with a session that matches your summer availability. Although you will be training virtually, you will still be learning alongside the rest of UniCamp’s volunteers and will have opportunities to connect with them both virtually and in-person!
